Our Story
A Mother–Daughter Creative Journey.
Meet Zaria and Monica, the creative mother-daughter duo behind MumZ & FriendZ. What began as a simple fourth-grade talent show idea quickly grew into something much bigger.
Together, they created memorable characters that use creativity, humor, and meaningful messages to inspire mindfulness, kindness, resilience, and confidence. Since then, they have shared performances with schools, television audiences, and local and national community organizations.
At the heart of MumZ & FriendZ is a creative kid, an encouraging mom, and a shared belief that meaningful stories have the power to inspire, connect, and make a lasting impact.
